This was a wonderful find! The atmosphere is upbeat and energetic! The food was amazing! Drinks were awesome! They are a little pricey, but we didn’t mind paying for great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere! The waitress was amazing! Someone was always around tidying up the space. It was very clean! The band that night was entertaining and amazing! They play every Thursday night. I will definitely go back! Kudos to the owner!
I have been going to the Flying Monkey since it originally opened at the hartford airport and I enjoy the variety of music especially Mike McKeys Childs on Thursdays. My favorite Waitress is Cathy at the bar. She knows exactly what I like to eat and drink and how I like it prepared. She is the best!
My experience was absolutely amazing. From our wonderful Server Tatiana to the cleanliness of the restaurant and to the fresh tasty food they served us. I celebrated my 7th anniversary and it was so worth it. I would highly recommend this place. It's calming and very elegant . I enjoyed this dinner so very much.
Our bartenders Meredith and Cathy are always phenomenal. They take care of you. Their live band is great and the food and drinks are always on point!
This place is simply amazing! It's a bit pricey but the portions are decent and the service is on point. Especially Cathy, she is so attentive and quick. She keeps me coming back (and maybe Jess) seriously, you need to at least try this place out.
Still the best everything including the wings and service in newington on the pike. Coming in from Hartford go slow after passing Columbian Farms on the right
This place has it all--great food, atmosphere and service, top shelf live music. The menu is unique, full of creative choices like steak and cheese egg rolls and an endless variety of tasty drinks. The band was so good that they got everyone singing, and even pulled some away from our delicious meals to dance a bit. The server was warm and the owner made the rounds to ensure everyone was happy, which we definitely were. This isn't a restaurant you'll try once; it'll be your joint for special occasions or for when you want to be part of a lovely experience.
Great service and food. The Asian pear martinis are my fave, they’re on the Happy Hour menu. My favorite bar tender is Kathy, she’s the best!
